what's it all about
The Order of the Secret Monitor is inspired by the timeless friendship of David and Jonathan, a bond celebrated in biblical history and older in spirit than Freemasonry itself. Its early form travelled to the New World with Dutch settlers in the 1600s, and the modern Order was formally established in London in 1887.
Built on the principles of self‑sacrifice, trust, brotherly care, timely support, and wise counsel, the Order offers a warm and compassionate extension to a Freemason’s journey—one focused on genuine friendship and mutual support.
